Active eye infections: conjunctivitis (“pink eye”), styes, blepharitis
Open wounds, abrasions, or active dermatitis in the treatment area
Recent eye surgery or LASIK within 6–12 weeks (unless medically cleared)
Severe seasonal allergies with excessive tearing or rubbing
Known allergy to tint, oxidative color, perming solutions, or keratin formulas
Recent use of retinoids, AHAs/BHAs, or benzoyl peroxide on brows (for tint/lamination)
Waxing, dermaplaning, chemical peels, or laser treatments in the eye/brow area within the past 5–7 days
Lash extensions removed within the last 48–72 hours (lashes must rest)
Active sunburn or compromised skin barrier around eyes/brows

Stop using waterproof mascara and lash curlers 7 days prior, and avoid waxing, threading, tweezing, depilatories, spray tans, self-tanner, and excessive sun exposure or sunburn in the brow or eye area.
Avoid heavy sun exposure, heat-based treatments, and anything that causes irritation or sensitivity around the eyes and brows 5–7 days prior, and pause lash serums if they cause redness.
Avoid steam rooms, saunas, hot yoga, intense sweating, and facials with steam, exfoliation, or chemical resurfacing 24–48 hours prior to your appointment.
Avoid oil-based skincare products, mascara, brow makeup, lash curlers, brow gels, or anything that coats the lashes or brows 24–48 hours prior.
