Telangiectasia (broken capillaries)

Sebaceous hyperplasia

Seborrheic keratosis

Sebaceous Hyperplasia

Sebaceous hyperplasia is a benign condition in which the oil (sebaceous) glands become enlarged, presenting as small, soft, yellow- or flesh-colored bumps (typically 1–3 mm) often found on the forehead, cheeks, or nose.

These lesions are harmless, but many clients choose removal for a smoother skin appearance.

Cherry Angioma

Cherry angiomas are small, bright red to purple papules composed of clusters of capillaries, typically appearing on the trunk or limbs. While they are common and benign, many clients elect to remove them for cosmetic concerns.

Skin Tags

Skin tags (fibroepithelial polyps) are small, benign skin growths that appear in areas of folding such as the neck, underarms, groin, and around the eyelids. They are harmless but may become irritated or cosmetically unwanted.

Milia

Milia are small, keratin-filled cysts located just beneath the skin’s surface that appear as tiny white or yellowish bumps, most commonly around the eyes and nose.
They are benign but often removed for smoother skin texture.

Seborrheic Keratosis

Seborrheic keratoses are benign, “waxy” or scaly growths that develop with age. They vary in color from light tan to dark brown or black, and may appear “stuck on” the skin surface. They are typically harmless but may be removed for cosmetic reasons.

Telangiectasia

Telangiectasias are visible, dilated small blood vessels near the skin’s surface—often appearing as fine red or blue lines on the cheeks, nose, or chin. They are primarily a cosmetic concern and respond well to surface treatments.

Skin Classic Aftercare | Post-Treatment Instructions

  • Some irritation, as well as redness and some crusting may form on the area(s) treated.
  • If the area is still irritated by the end of the day, a bag of frozen vegetables, wrapped in a clean cloth may be applied to the area for 10 minutes on and 10 minutes off. No more than 20 minutes of ice-skin contact within 1 hour.
  • DO NOT pick, rub, or scrub the crusting area. Prematurely removing the crust may cause hyperpigmentation or scarring.
  • Wash with gentle cleanser using your fingertips. Pat dry to prevent removal of crust. DO NOT use terry cloth!
  • DO NOT use scrubs or exfoliants for 30 days. This includes exfoliating face wash, loofah sponges or Clarisonic type cleansing brushes.
  • DO NOT use AHA’s, BHA’s or products containing Retinols or Retin-A products for 30 days.
  • DO NOT use any other form of peeling or bleaching products for 30 days.
  • DO NOT get areas wet e.g. washing face at vanity. Shower with back to water if face was treated. Keep hands out of water if hands were treated. Excessive water exposure will cause crusts to become soggy and slough too quickly.
  • DO NOT apply make-up to the treated area for 24 hours after treatment. Make up may be worn over moisturizing sun block after 24 hours. You MUST use SPF 30 or higher every day!
  • AVOID direct sunlight immediately after treatment.
  • DO NOT have any laser or ablative treatments on the treated area for at least 30 days.
  • DO NOT have any aggressive facials or facial treatments including microdermabrasion or dermaplaning on treated areas for at least 30 days. It is ok to get treatments around treated areas, but please inform your esthetician that you had a high frequency treatment beforehand, and where it was performed.
  • Crusts will slough off in 5-7-10-14 days depending on the individual (hands will take longer).
  • Areas may continue to look pink until completely healed.
  • Sunscreen is your best friend, wear it always and forever!
